Citroen Xsara 1.6 VTR 1998 coil pack question

Hi guys, hoping someone can help with query as soon as poss as my car is currently sitting somewhere down the road and cannot be moved! My brother replaced spark plugs and then proceeded to replace HT leads, however he didn't take them off the coil pack one at a time and we now don't know which order they go in. As far as I can work out it should be 1432 clockwise. But, which one on coil pack is No. 1? As you look at the engine the coil pack looks like this :: I'm guessing that the No.1 of the spark plugs would be the furthest away from the coil? We are having to replace the pack tomorrow but it would be handy to know so we don't blow it when we put all leads back on.

I can't give you a definite answer as i'm not familiar with the car, but the coil packs sometimes have small no's on them somewhere, if not maybe try putting the old leads back, they should of retained their shape and should look quite neat if you've got them right, if that works then change one at a time

Good thinking I shall certainly try the putting old leads back, will keep you posted. God I hate French cars!

For anyone else who needs to know this, the sequence as you look at the coil pack :: is 4 1 2 3 clockwise.
