Central Heating Timer

I have recently replaced my Honeywell ST699 timer with a new one, unfortunately since fitting nothing works icon_sad.gif !!!! There is no display on the timer and it does not reset. would it be possible that it is a faulty timer??? icon_eek.gif It is in a S type circuit icon_rolleyes.gif

Have you replaced with a ST699 icon_question.gif
Have you wired like for like icon_question.gif
Has the fuse popped in spur icon_question.gif

OK,OK enough Q an A.

Is there live to the timer and a sound nuetral.

It is posssible to purchase a brand new dodgie timer icon_evil.gif

Yes it was a ??New St 699 ???. I will check the live on the timer icon_confused.gif

Sorted, the hot water auto valve switch was welded in the closed position and there was a fault in the programmer switch for the hot water. So engineer has replaced both and everything is now working. HAPPY DAYS icon_biggrin.gif thank you clf-gas for your help icon_lol.gif
