Aquadial Scale Inhibitor Cartridge

Hi Guys,

How do you change the cartridge on an Aqua Dial?

I assume you just isolate the water but how does the cartridge remove from the pipework? Have noticed a screw on top, does this need to be taken out to remove?

is it this one

To change turn of water plus drain system pressure, loosen top allen screw then twist the old one of, replace with new unit relock allen screw, might be worth using some silicone grease on the o ring though.

Yep, thats the one, not sure what you mean by 'drain system pressure'
Is this to do with the boiler?

Turn cold mains off and open h & c taps.

Undo small grub screw locking cartridge into place.

Sometimes it is easier if you remove unit from pipe work via the large nut.
