my new ac adaptor for my booster arieal gets hot when pluged in at the socket. is this normal.

it is a 2 way.

please advise :confused:

Hot or warm? If it gets warm its fine, if it gets too hot to hold comfortably then it probably isn't.
 
Does anything else get hot when plugged into that socket?

Whn the adapter has got "hot" - if you pull it out, are the pins even hotter than the rest?

The guys are hinting at a loose connection in either the plug or socket.

Have you tried it in another point?
