If you install main gas or water bonding do you have to complete an installation certificate for the works? I didn't think you would as obviously there would be no values or circuits to record, although someone mentioned to me you should. What you guys think? Thanks

Let me ask you this - are there any IEE Wiring Regulations which apply to main bonding cables?
I'm not sure where you are going with that line of questioning, but IMO no certificate is required.

yes there is a requirement that states water and gas supplies should be bonded and that all new circuits should be certified. Although this isn't a circuit so i'd say no it doesn't require one. Right???

Seeing as I`m in a scheme and have agreed to work to BS 7671 then in the sprit of that I do a Minor works .

If you carry out electrical installation work for which BS 7671 imposes certain requirements, why do you think that you should not have to issue a certificate which confirms that you have complied with those requirements?

yes of course working to bs7671. Ok so you do. So what do you record? Just state all circuit ways 'not tested' and just tick the bonding boxes etc. No values recorded.???
