Can any one help - rcd keeps tripping in a house with over head cables, this only happens in stormy weather. I would appreciate some advice. Many thanks.

This needs to go into the Electrical section. There could be a number of reasons, for instance cables touching in windy weather, or possible water blowing into loft perhaps giving damp electrics. Or have you run power into the garden?
Need to know what type of Consumer Unit you have, is the rcd in the CU and is it on all circuits or just some (split unit), or is it a single rcd socket?.
How can you tell? Trip the rcd - what's left running?
