Hi everyone,
just come across this forum. There's certainly lots of useful shared knowledge.
I'm about to move into a flat and I'd like to fit a chunky Nightlatch to the front door. The Yale XBS1 looks to be the weapon of choice in conjunction with a 5 lever BS321 motice lock.
I've been round to measure the existing nighlatch - the length from the edge of the door to the centre of the cylinder is 51mm (2")
The Yale XBS1 lists a backset size of 60mm. I'm wondering if I'll be able to fit the lock and use the existing hole?
Many thanks
