baxi 105e combi

Hi
I have a baxi combi 105e 4 years old
when i have the heating on the pressure dial moves up to near 3
and the Pressure release valve kicks in and blows water out the overflow pipe
Any ideas as to why this is happening ?

Could be the pressure when cold is set too high. Should be just over 1 Bar.

Could be the expansion vessel needs re-pressurising, or has split and needs replacing.
