Hi,

I have a drain next to the wall where the kitchen pipes discharges.
Sometimes, the water splashes on the wall and I am worried about damp.

I have some remaining pond liner material, I was wondering if i could use this round the walls and if so how do i fix it to the wall.

thks

You'd be better off sorting the drains.

you could do

will look a bit unsightly

I have sometimes seen people use a piece of roofing slate

However assuming you mean a waste pipe going into a yard gully, it would not be difficult to extend the pipe so it goes deeper into the gully. You are allowed to put it through the grille now (this is easy if it is a plastic grille) You can get a shoe, or a straight join, or an elbow very cheaply. Solvent cement fitting is most permanent (I assume it is grey or white plastic?) you may find the makers name moulded onto the pipe.
