upvc window wont open

My bathroom window will not open, it has a lock on (not locked )and a push button that must be pushed and the handle pulled up when you want it to open.

It feels as if the centre lock near the handle is disengaging but not the top or bottom locks.

The window frames are from a company manufacturer named "Royal".

Anyone had this and fixed it?

Could be that the rods securing the top/bottom have seperated from the gearing (unlikely if both are stuck). More likely the gearing is either broke, or the spindle from the handle has become loose and isn't turning the mechanism.

First step is to take off the handle and take a look inside. Post back with what you can see - a picture would be better.

If you're not confident - get a locksmith or UPVC repairer in to sort it.
