Just cut a few small slits in it with the wife's best bread knife.the brand is Weedblock Premium. It doesn't feel like plastic.

I have tried putting a couple of fork holes in the water logged area.
As far as I know it didn't puddle before, but is was covered in chippy stones before.
Should I maybe try digging a drainage trench?
