Hotpoint ctd80 lid and light probs.

Hi, the display light is flickering and goes out, i wanted to check out the bulb issue but cannot get the lid off. I have undone the screws at the back, but don't know whether to push or pull the lid off. Should it be pushed forward or pulled backwards under force??????

Also is there a bulb as such????

Any ideas welcomed.

push from front hard slap with palm of hand slides to the back .no bulb lcd bad news cost about 80 quid for a new one just plugs in .call hotpoint cost will be 105 including parts .or just buy the part and fit yourself

sorry just checked price 49.99 plus vat 58 quid from hotpoint . you might find cheaper on google espares etc ,

no it wont be i have it on my database part number is c00193806 call 08709 077077 ask for that part should be 49.99 plus vat

when i trawelled thru' the hotpoint site and associated site all i could find was hpt1703285 control board, is this the same thing.

yes thats the old number superseeded by the new one.no pic or detail cos its a electronic part .dont ask y just complicated
