Hi,

A friend has asked me to try and repair the heater in his lay-z-spa unit, managed to get the retaining screws out, but can't seperate the top off the unit from the bottom.

Has anyone managed to open up these units and if so how?

I have removed the filter and their appears to be a large nut, is this a nut or is it the way the plastic is moulded?

Anyone help!!!

For info,

Their is a large nut beneath the filter, remove anti-clockwise, after removing the bottom section cross head screws, the two halfs will sepearate.

The reason the heater did not work was that the water pressure switch had clogged up (this switch is satisfied when the pump is running and the heating chamber is full)

Cleaned out the sensing hole on the switch and it all works.
