hi

Hope someone can help- basically in my house the grid switch panel broke as a result of me trying to fix one of the switches. I have no idea who the cover panel is made by as my house is about 6 years old.

Anyway from what I can figure out if i can't find the correct sized panel for 6.25 inches x 6.5 inches then am i right in thinking I will need to buy a 6 panel grid switch and mounting and switches to replace it.

(I know I only need 4 switches for the appliances but given the size of the box already installed i will need a double size one so a 6 or 8 gang panel i think.)

Ok I undestand that i need 1 way switches but what is SP and DP?

Anyway I would welcome peoples views and if possible on where i can find the correct panel to save me the effort of having to start from new!

looks like mem. or maybe contactum
It may be stamped on the metal grid that is behind the white cover
DP and SP are both 1 way
sp usually switches just the live, single pole
Dp usually switches live and neutral, double pole
If you know how to do so safely the make will also be on the switches.

for switching kitchen appliances 20A DP switches are generally used.
