Good day all
I recently purchased a steam shower on e-bay they recommend fitting a pressure equalising valve in the feed to the shower. My cold supply is off the mains and my hot is via my combi boiler . Is this necessary if so where would I purchace one
many thanks

It is neccesary to use a pressure balancing valve. and they are more like £43.00.
It might be a good ideal to install and cheap thermostatic shower valve in there(based on the assumption that it is a manual shower valve).
Manual shower valves should not be used with combi's.

Hi,
You should be able to run your steam shower directly from your combi boiler.
Hot and cold water both come through your combi at a minimum of 1.5bar.

not if your mains pressure isn't 1.5bar.
and cold don't go through the combi.
