Hi

I have two quick questions.

1)

I need to change a bathroom window over to uPVC double glazed.

I have found what I want on Screwfix but another guy who had ordered
the same unit has left feedback saying that the unit is
"EXTERNALLY GLAZED" and was not for him.

Does this mean that the glass can be removed easily by a burglar?

We are fortunate that we do not live in a crime ridden area, but if
this is the case I'd still prefer to make it as hard as possible.

2)

This unit has 24mm Low "E" glass.

Because the glass is going to be obscure (bathroom) will
the "E" glass still apply.

Many thanks in advance.

Glass in an externally glazed frame is stuck in with double-sided tape and will not come out easily from the outside. It is no less secure than internally glazed

Plus if this is a bathroom, the burglar is unlikely to put a ladder up and mess about with it

All windows, whatever the room, have to be to the same thermal standard
