Hi -

I'm trying to wire a flex holder to a bulb as above - unfortunately, my flex has a blue, brown and yellow/green wire, but the bulbholder only has 2 screw terminals.
What am I supposed to do with the green/yellow wire in this instance.

Thanks
Aparna

If the light shade is metallic then it should have an earth terminal, in which case connect it to this. If it is not metallic the green/yellow wire is not required to be connected to anything and can be left.
