Hi,

I moved to the sourth a few years ago from an area that didn\\\'t have hard water.

I haven\\\'t done anything with my \\\'new\\\' central heating system for 5 years.

What should i do to protect it from lime scale (or anything else). Should I be flushing the system with something ? If so what should I be using, and how do I flush it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If an 'Ideal Classic' LXSS; SS Faned Flue gas boiler.

It runs water to radiators.

I don't have a problem to try to fix, I'm just wondering how I should be maintaining it.

Thanks,

if open vented put a cleanser in the f&e tank (the small one)
if sealed fernox do a cartridge that you inject into a rad
after you clean and flush the system add an inhibitor :D

Thanks for that.

Like I said - I don't know if I'm suposed to do anything.

How often should I do it? Should I just leave it until it show some symptons?
