Hi
I'm building a concrete base for a clients summer house. The base need to be approx 7.5X6m and 150mm deep. There will be 150mm compacted hardcore underneath and dpm. This is much bigger than usual shed bases I've done so will have to screed it in in 2 sections. The concrete supplier suggested I do it in 2 sections by dividing the width to 3m with timber shuttering (150mmX25mm). He says that this timber can be left in for an expansion joint. Does this sound OK?? If not any help would be great.
Cheers
