Thought i would add a post of what a hotpoint washing m/c looks like and its main components.

Please note this is for HOTPOINT only, and not all hotpoints look like this, its for a guide only
 
sorry it has been some time, but my old hp has given up, so here are some pictures

Best option is to lay m/c on its back, themn you can see the pump

Again with front off the pressure chamber is to the bottom right

Please also note this is a HOTPOINT m/c that was made in about 1996 , so if yours is made after about 2000 it may not look like this
