I have recently re routed some of my drains to an existing septic tank after a new extension build. The planning oficer says I will have to test the new drains . How do I test the old septic tank which is brick constucted and the inlet pipe is two feet down inside the tank. I cant see how an effective seal can be fitted at the tank end for the test? any one done this before?
