i used to use a product called sanding sealer in south africa.
it is a great product that gives wood a smooth satin finish.
paint or spray it onto raw wood, it dries in 10mins, then sand. repeat the process until you have the desired smoothness.
it gets rid of little upright wood fibers, fills grain and seals the wood.
now i have been to B&Q, wickes and a few smaller places and no one has a clue what i am talking about.
does anybody know this product, what is it called over here in the UK?
poeple stare at me with blank faces when i ask for a sanding sealer??
btw, its not a brand name, its a general product.
anybody?
