Hi

I have a Britony Combi boiler, I have just realised that the upstairs rads have got warm even though the heating isn't switched on. I noticed this after running a bath. Each rad has a thermostaic valve on them so i have turned them all off.

Please could someone tell me what the problem is!!!

Cheers :D

Could be as simple as the boiler doing it's occasional pump through to prevent pipework clogging up when heating is switched off.

Just found it -//www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=177453

Op, it may therefore be related to this thread - that's why I'm dredging it up. But probably not since it relates to a conventional system and not a sealed one you have with your combi!

make your mind up dex

To look like an idiot, or not, that is the question. Or is it

Op - since the heating pipe didn't get hot when you turned the tap, I'll stick by my original guess, er, diagnosis. In which case you need to do nothing.
