LOL, I was gonna post something like that but I thought maybe it was some kind of roofing terminology
I'm not overly keen on roof ladders at the best of times and i certainly don't like the sound of one that extends.

if you have to ask how to operate the thing, i would think twice about using it if i were you.

The ladder, very awkard, ok if you could close up like it is, but it needs turning over to bring down, same as going up, one as to hold it, while one extends.
