Compatible room stat for vaillant 828E turbomax

Does anyone know which digital room stat is compaitible with the vaillant 828E turbomax??
At the moment I have a very old mechanical 'Switchmaster' room stat which has seen better days and want shot of it now,
I have a cable with a live, neutral and earth, which cable am I going to have to replace it with??

Any should work with it.
it wont be live neutral earth it will be live in live out and either neutral or earth room stat colours rarely match what they should be.

Modern digitals only usually need live in live out

The earth should always be earth (cpc), and is not allowed to be use for anything else.
Could be that red and black (brown and blue) are both phase, or they have used the "earth" as a live.
As above, digital stats don't need the anticipator, and most are double insulated so don't need earth either; gives you a chances to use the cable as it is designed to be. If you want to do it really neat, sleeve the cores, though hardly anybody bothers with that.
Needless to say that you should only do this if you are competent with electrics.
