How long do the new style diverter valves last before failure ?

yes of course they operate 24hrs a day, 365 days a year. call them now and an engineer will be knocking on your door in 15 minutes if you like, don't all companies operate in this manner?

To replace the diverter valve we charge our diagnostic fee and £94 for the valve which in our local area comes to £178.

I expect Vaillant probably charge about £200.

If course the fault has to be correctly diagnosed first!

Very few of the new ones fail but they can and particularly if the water is dirty.

As far as I can gather Vaillant usually come after 2-3 days. I try to come the same day when called before noon and if the client is available for the rest of the day.

Clients are getting very slow. I have recently had to wait several days for clients to be available.
