Washing machine does cycle but won't spin - have checked all pumps and filters and they are clear - any other suggestions please?

thanks for your reply much appreciated. Apparently it was to do with the balance. As I only had 1 item in that i wanted to spin it was too light!!! Put a full load in and it works! so i can't spin one item only! Cheers
