This the only way to top up the pressure unless you drain the system and install a separate universal filling loop.
Like your door key, the filling key must be in the right position, or it will not go in.
A tiny bit of hand cream on the rubber o-ring will make it a lot easier; about 3 pounds of pressure will get the key in. |

?
I'm completely serious. I use teflon-, or silicone spray, but I don't expect a householder to have that in the kitchen cupboard.
Drop of handcream on the o-ring will do the job as well. |

It's the knob.
You should be able to hear the water entering your system once its opened. Turn it anticlockwise to let water in.

Once the key is in, you need to turn it about 40 degrees, to make sure it doesn't pop out.
Then you turn the knob.
Close it gently, it does NOT have to be tight. Pull the key out, and if it keeps dripping, just give it a little bit more; err on the side of caution. |
