Usually. What do the instructions say ?
I don't no I haven't got the boiler at the mo. I have one to swap though that is wired to a plug. I just wondered when I wire the new one to the plug whether it needs to be a 3amp fuse. Like when it's wired to a spur.
Why would it be any different in a plug than in a spur?

Plugs are a maximum of 13A, and most of them are supplied with a 13A fuse.
So are most FCUs.
Plug or FCU makes no difference, use a 3A fuse.
