Dimmer switches

I'm looking for a chrome (preferably) dimmer switch that uses a slider for control rather than a round switch. Any ideas where I can find one?

TLC have a range of copycat grid modules that are as you describe

then you would need to get a chrome grid and faceplate for one of the grid systems they fit.

Just don't like them.

I think they look hideous.

Almost as bad as American switches and dimmers.

They're too chunky, was looking for something delicate, something discrete, that's kinda cool looking. New house, chrome and glass living room furniture...minimilist - that's it!

That photo came from the TLC website, but it's a branded product - maker is Varilight http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Manufacturers/Varilight/index.html and you can get them at other places. I think that even some of the sheds stock them.
