First post so bear with me on this. i have been having trouble with a worcester bosch 240 rsf. When the homeserve guy had a look at it , he said there is nothing wrong for insurance purposes, but the boiler is all rigged up to be fitted on a pressuriesed system, with its own expansion vessel inside the cabinet, but whoever fitted it originally made it into a gavity fed open vented system. Two pipes , one 15 and one 22 mm come out of the boiler and go up into the loft and into a tank with a ball cock on it. how can this be change over to how the boiler was supposed to be.
The engineer said to fit a filling loop and disconnect the pipes going up into thre loft, this sounds too simple to me, there has got to more to it than that, but im hoping to be proved wrong ! Btw if you need advice on steel fabrication i can help, but not on heating systems. Im Pretty handy with plumbing, have all the tools i think i need for my experience, so i was thinking on the lines of doing it myself, but dont want to hurtle into the unknown.
