My tired old green felf roof is starting to leak. Its very old and needs to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone could advise whether fitting a rubber roof is within the capabilities of a reasonable DIY person? and if it is which product(s) are any good?

The roof is pretty large (probably at least 7m x 7m and maybe even 8m x 8m.

why take a chance, EPDM or glassfibre are easy, but experience is paramount when water damage is a bad-un if it goes wrong. £1800 for a new roof is worth it search for any roof-coaters in your area and get some quotes. :)

Thanks for the reply, I am considering getting the work done by a professional. Will see what the quotes come in like and go from there.
