Taking a new feed for lighting.

Hi, I'm looking to install some plinth lights in the kitchen, what is the best way to take a feed from the CU? There are 2 t&e cables installed, one goes from the wall switch to behind the plinth and the second goes from the CU to the plinth. So I need to take a feed from the CU, to a junction box? And then connect the switch wire and create a switched live.

So how/where shoul I take a feed from inside the CU? The kitchen ring main? Ground lighting?

The easiest place to obtain a feed is not likely to be the lighting circuit. I would take the feed from the RF circuit, fuse it down with a DP spur at 3A, then run your lights from there. You say you have cables in place to the switch and the fittings.

Is there a place you can make the connections that is accessible?
