Got up this morning, freezing cold. Boiler not working. The system pressure guage is just above zero. red limit indicator is on. pump is working but sounds like air is in the system. any help would be much appreciated

Top your pressure up to around 1 bar.
Look for a filling loop.
If it loses pressure again you have a leak somewhere on your system. :(

Thanks for the quick response. can you just give me a little more info on where to top up the pressure. many thanks

Under your boiler there should be a silver flexi hose with a valve on it.
Open the valve until the pressure reading reaches 1 bar :D

Thanks very much. i saw that valve this morning before leaving for work. i'll try that this evening. Will i have to bleed the radiators after?

Yep did the job. Works fine, i had to top up the water pressure a few times while bleeding the radiators. Brilliant! thanks for your help. Top website!!!!

Glad that you are sorted but keep an eye on the pressure guage.
You may need to top up occasionally.
If regularly, you have a leak somewhere and will need to find it.
Also. the filling loop should be disconnected after use. :D
