Re: creosote removal from glass door of fireplace

When was the box manufactured. There is a period of time when disgruntled employees were sabotaging units on the production line. (yes, even in Canada) They were reversing gaskets which would block or limit outside air causing a very lazy fire and creosote build-up.

My problem was corrected (BIS Ultra) and I recently deleted all my letters to referance dates. I think it was the fall of '98.
