hi
i need to know if i can add another outside light from one that is already there,the light i have already outside is wired up through a rose in my hallway and need to know is it if its safe to do  |

probably OK, but it depends what is already there.
Does the new light need an earth, for example, if so is there one at the existing light ?
What will be the total wattage of lamps on that circuit before and after the addition?
does this exceed (or even get near) the rating of the circuit breaker or fuse that controls it? (a 6A breaker is good for 1000watts of lights, roughly)
Will the new wiring require mechanical or environmental protection (is it exposed)?
