hi peeps, whats the best product to use to prevent damage between the toilet and porcelain floor tiles? i have a load of dc785 to use but i thought id double check. was planning on setting it in this and let it go off, then screw the pan down into the plastic brackets attached to the tile... is this correct?

I've done this once successfully as a DIYer.

I masked round near the bottom of the pan and around the pan outline on the floor I levelled the pan on little slivers of wood so that there was at least a little gap all round. The sanitary silicon could then be "gunned" into the space leaving a little gap at the slivers. Once smoothed, I removed the mask, alowed it to go off, pulled the slivers, remaisked and made good. Worked a treat.
