CH Pump

Hi,

I have recelthy drained the CH system down as fitted a towel rad in the bathroom. All went ok, refilled (vented system) and no leaks, bled rads.

Now the pump is making a hell of a noise, which is in the airing cupboard. I have removed the large silver screw, completely, and nothing comes out, no water, nothing. I can hear it gong and bubbling away, but cant seem to get the air out.

Have I missed something, a year ago I had to drain the CH, did exactly the same but didnt have this problem.

Not sure what to do next..

It could be a blocked cold feed, try draining a rad and see if the ball valve in the small tank starts to fill, or you may have an air lock,try draining the rad and see what happens (dont run the pump)
