The heating oil supply to the boiler and the Aga is slowing and preventing the boiler from staying alight because of the cold weather. Is there a pump I can fit that will prevent this happening? Or any other method such as the tape that keeps the pipe warm

Thanks

The problem is caused by water freezing in the oil line along the lowest points, for example underground, so you need to, if possible get some heat in that area followed by eventually flushing the water out with oil.

Not easy to get to the lowest point - I would need to lay new pipe. I will try trace heating and see if that improves things. Would a pump not help?

Aga`s are designed for a gravity oil feed, not pumped.
