MIXER SHOWER

I\\\'ve got a mixer shower (Mira excel) the temperature is erratic, I have to mess about alot with the temp knob all the time to stop scolding myself. Any suggestions to fix the problem.

I think he probably means to say that if you have a combi boiler then the difficulty probably lies there.

Tell us the make and model of boiler.

If it has a hot water temperature control knob then turn it down to about halfway and see what the shower does.

Also check the shower head little holes are not blocked by lime scale.

Is this a new problem or an always done it one.

New problem mira would suggest you clean the spray plate assemble and check the inlet filters

It might just be pa-in-law's home made wine doing it, but that made me laugh.
Scalding yourself would not be funny.
