I'm thinking about getting some ferrous sulphate to kill the moss on my lawn. Has anyone used this and if so any tips?

I use 3 to 3.5 grams/sq m to kill moss.

I half fill a watering can with warm water, and disolve 30 to 35 grams in it giving it a good stir. I then fully fill the can with cold water.

Measure out 10 sq m on your lawn, I use canes to show the edges, and water this area. Repeat until the lawn is done. Watch you edge overlap when water on, but I have never had a problem at this concentration.

The moss should turn black, if deeply rooted it may still show green centres and require a retreatment a couple of weeks later. Rake the moss out after about 7 to 12 days.
