2way dimmer switch with old 3 core & earth.

Ok so came it to a problem, I have a dimmer switch which controls 2 lights. On each part there is L1 L2 and a wavey line.
I have A red cable, A yellow cable and a Blue cable (earth is there as well But I know what to do with that) I the red had some sleeving missing which was forming a link from one to another.
So thats what I have any help out there???
