Hi all,

i need to purchase a programmable room thermostat but given there are so many available it would be good if you experts could lend a hand and point me in the right direction. My boiler is a Baxi 105e and its being moved into the loft with the stat will be positioned in the hallway

I have to get this stat for the weekend so any genuine help would be good,

cheers all

Andy

Honeywell CM907 or the CM927 if you need the wireless version

The Honeywell is the dog's danglers, but we've been using the Horstmann Centaur Stat for years & not had a problem with it. It's a lot cheaper!

I have a Danfoss, and the LCD display has got a bit iffy with age. Some of the bars are faint.

Honeywell each and every time ,the likes of Horstmann and Salus should not be allowed to their rubbish here!

Quality remains long after the price is forgotten....................... :)

It's worth specifying whether the boiler you want it for is modulating of not. If it isn't then the CM907 or CM927, but otherwise look for something that will take advantage of the modulating function. It's likely to give better control.

It's all dependent on the age of the boiler really.

This problem is common to all LCD displays.
