hello everyone, I would like to know how I would wire a Texecom exodus OH4W to a texecom veritas 8C,

do i have to program a zone as fire?
if so, how do I program it as fire?

Wire it the same as any other powered detector.
POS and NEG Nc/C

Programme the zone as fire. In Engineers 2 4 Enter

From the Programming Menu, press # followed by the
zone number. The Zone Type currently selected will
indicate

Press the Zone Type number required. Press ,.
The system will chime to confirm the new Zone Type has
been accepted. The system will then automatically revert to
the Programming Menu.

thanks alarm, but I think my exodus is broken! few months ago it worked, but now it's totall dead!!
how long is the warranty?
hope it is 10 years otherwise i'm B******d!

Says 5 yrs on the paperwork :D

I`d change it after 10 yrs anyway.
Even professional fire systems recconmend new detectors after 10 yrs.

yeah, had power to it couple of months ago, then it went dead! no life from it ever since!

oh well, was manufactured in 2004, so no chance of swap under warranty!
never mind, I'll get a new one soon, OH4W, same as before for the new accenta G4 I'm installing soon![/youtube]
