Hi All

I have a problem with the optima plus 2 problem in my new house (well old house)

i set the alarm code when i went out this moring and when i came back entered the code again i now cant walk into my living room without the alarm beeping then setting the alarm off

Is there a way i can reset the alarm to include all rooms when its on and no when its off?

are you sure you have not set the zone to chime?

Press CHIME and then 0 and see what happens.

But Chime would not set the alarm off would it? It would simply sound the panel chime sound?

The Op says it chimes and then the alarm goes off.

Looks more like a problem with device parameters.

Agreed, but i`m making sure as many use the incorrect terminology.

Only reason a PIR would trip the system is if programming is goofed and is set as HUD/PAB
