Boiler Problem

I have no hot water supply,unless i switch on the central heating.I have a Vailant combi-boiler,can anyone help?

Possibly the diverter valve could be sticky which in turn failed the electric to start the water.

Which Vaillant? Usually a rubber diaphragm or a flow switch, or a diverter valve motor or.... !

Look for a number like VCW 242, VUW 828 etc.

It's a VCW T3W.

Likely the Diaphragm in the tap water flow sensor, iirc. Get the Mfrs info from Vaillant. (Check also on HRPC website for price/availability)
