Bosch GOF 900 Router

Hi All

I have a Bosch GOF900 router. its about 10 years old but as good as new. its had a very easy life.
today i was using it on some kitchen door and it made a pop noise from the handle where the switch is and then stopped working. would i be right in thinking that its the Suppression Capacitor that has gone pop. would this going stop the router working? . No smoke came from the router.

It could well do. I had the suppressor go on an SDS drill once. No smoke, but stopped it dead in its tracks

well the part came today and all is well. the router is alive. I'm a happy man again
