Thanks for the replies to previous question,

I forgot to mention that when the boiler has mains supply switched on, that the pump is constantly running if the pcb is faulty could it be causing this or is maybe the pump causing all the problems

Nope, not the pump I'm afraid!

If you're handy with a soldering iron inspect all the joints onthe back of the pcb, esp the ones where the connectors and relays are. Soetimes you see them cracked. Clean all the pins on the wiring loom connectors.
