Copper v Flexible Compression Piping

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and am looking for some advice on replacing my old radiator in my bathroom with a heated towel rail. I'm fairly confident with the fitting of the Valves and bits around the rail itself but the positioning of the rail and space mean I have to move the pipes that are feeding it.

At present there are copper pipes running across the bathroom through the floor joist and they have been bent round the water pipe for the toilet. I want to replace these copper pipes with flexi piping to make the whole job of planning the route of the pipes easier. Is this OK to do? Were these flexi pipes designed for hot water flow?

I was going to cut them off they turn 90 degrees in the middle of the room and connect the old copper new braided compression piping with compression fittings.

No I wouldn't. If you don't have the skilles use pushfit and barrier plastic.

I take your point. If I did that could I still use the braised flexible?

For braised read braidec - sorry. Braised pipes sounds painful.

I wouldn't use them anywhere.
