Security lights...

Ive got 500w Security lights on the back of my bungalow, I know these run hot and since have plastic facia fitted....the facia is getting warm and will I suspect start to discolour.
I have put 300w Tungsten Halogen lamps in but even these run very hot...I cannot drop the security light down because it would be very low..

Is there a cooler running bulb I could use?
